When applied to a stain surface Oil Lift™ breaks up hydrocarbon molecules.It penetrates and lifts stains from surfaces rather than dissolving or burning the way most other acid based cleaners and solvents do. The by-product can be washed onto the grass or gravel where it will biodegrade naturally.

Originally developed for removing grease and oil stains from driveways and parking lots,Oil Lift™ is now utilized in many household,commercial and industrial applications.

Oil Lift™SUPER ABSORBENT polymer is a granular, polymeric material. When spread over the spill, it rapidly absorbs the hydrocarbon contaminant in minutes. The hydrocarbon is bound into the polymer matrix or micro-encapsulated on a molecular level by the matrix. Use on all surface spills – water, land, machinery, boats, floors, etc.
Since OIL LIFT SUPER ABSORBENT is totally hydrophobic, it will float on water surfaces indefinitely after micro encapsulation.Oil Lift™SUPER ABSORBENT can micro encapsulate up to ten times its weight of hydrocarbon fluids and meet EPA Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure (TCLP) extraction and analysis, thus alleviating the characteristics that render these spills hazardous.
Under the EPA regulations, micro-encapsulated material may be eligible for landfill disposal or it may be recovered and burned for energy with a polymer energy of over 19,000 BTU/lb and no ash. Land filling ash should be the last resort. Oil Lift™SUPER ABSORBENT can be an income source by recycling as an asphalt road base additive or formulated into number two rubber based products such as highway cones or dividers. Oil Lift™SUPER ABSORBENT offers a permanent solution to hazardous waste.

I wanted to let the makers of Oil Lift know what a wonderful job ths did on my oven (along with a bit of "elbow grease"& a mild scouring pad)! And the fact that there were no harmful fumes mean it was safe for me and my little girl (who was able to play just a few feet from me while I cleaned the oven).I love that when I use Oil Lift for cleaning my floors,walls,oven,tiles,ect.,I am using a safe and environmentally friendly product-woohoo!
