Oil runoff and drainage into our water system
On Oct 5, 1998, Macleans magazine wrote a cover feature story on the environmental crisis
of land based oil pollution - based on recent scientific evidence that the greatest environmental pollution in
the world is due to oil runoff and drainage into our water systems. Subsequent scientific reports by American
and other environmental government agencies support those findings.Click here to see video

Oil pollution from the parking lots of shopping malls and of office buildings and
apartments
A major contributor to this chronic waste stream is the transportation industry. Studies
of urban streams and water bodies have indicated a hydrocarbon level as high as eight times the expected base
level. The largest concentration of petroleum hydrocarbon contamination is found in the parking lots of
shopping malls and of office buildings and apartments. This contamination is finding its way into the water
system by natural means (rain) and is being compounded by man made attempts to clean parking stalls using
strong detergents and chemicals that are flushed down the drain with the oil.

Now, we have Oil Lift™!
Getting oil off the driveway has always been a problem. Some cleaners just spread it out.
Others eat away at the driveway surface.
Finally a fellow came up with an interesting ecologically sound idea. Create a liquid that will soak into the
oil to lift the oil up into a water suspension where it can be soaked up or flushed away.
Most other cleaners simply dilute the oil and often spread out the mess. Oil Lift™ actually lifts the oil up
into a suspension that doesn't redeposit the oil a few inches away. This mixture can be flushed into the lawn
or gravel and the natural bacteria will break down the oil.
And Oil Lift™ itself is biodegradable! Meaning that it doesn't add to the pollution problem you're trying to
clean up. Effective and ecologically sound. That's two birds with one stone!"
